1. Overview

BeatPillz is a digital marketplace that allows independent producers to upload, license, and sell music beats to artists and content creators worldwide.

BeatPillz does not automatically register beats with YouTube Content ID and does not operate a YouTube Content Management System (CMS).

Producers on BeatPillz may choose to register their beats with third-party YouTube Content ID partners at their own discretion, subject to the rules and responsibilities outlined in this policy.

2. What Is YouTube Content ID?

YouTube Content ID is an automated copyright management system used by YouTube to identify, manage, and monetize copyrighted audio used in videos.

When a beat is registered with Content ID:

YouTube may automatically detect that beat in videos

Claims may be placed on videos using the beat

Ad revenue may be monetized or blocked depending on settings

3. BeatPillz’s Position on Content ID

BeatPillz does not enroll beats into YouTube Content ID

BeatPillz does not submit claims on behalf of producers

BeatPillz does not manage disputes, takedowns, or monetization

All Content ID activity is handled externally by the producer and their chosen partner

4. Producer Responsibilities

Producers who choose to use YouTube Content ID must comply with the following rules:

4.1 Licensing Awareness

Most beats on BeatPillz are sold under non-exclusive licenses.
This means:

Multiple buyers may legally use the same beat

Licensed users are allowed to upload songs and videos using the beat

4.2 Whitelisting Licensed Users

If a producer registers a beat with Content ID, they must whitelist:

Artists who have purchased a valid BeatPillz license

YouTube channels associated with licensed users

Failure to whitelist licensed users may result in:

False copyright claims

Channel strikes against buyers

Account suspension on BeatPillz

5. Prohibited Content ID Actions

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Claiming or monetizing videos from users who hold a valid BeatPillz license

Registering beats that include:

Unlicensed samples

Third-party loops without Content ID permission

Content you do not fully own

Using Content ID to harass, extort, or wrongfully monetize buyers

Violations may result in:

Removal of beats

Account suspension or termination

Forfeiture of earnings

Legal liability with YouTube or third parties

6. Recommended Content ID Partners

Producers who wish to register beats with YouTube Content ID should use approved third-party providers, such as:

AdRev

TuneCore Content ID

Symphonic

Soundreef

BeatPillz is not affiliated with these services and does not control their approval or monetization processes.

7. Disputes and Claims

All YouTube Content ID disputes must be handled directly between the producer, buyer, and Content ID provider

BeatPillz will not intervene in YouTube disputes unless:

Platform abuse is reported

Our Terms of Service or licenses are violated

8. Buyer Protection

Artists and buyers who receive Content ID claims on properly licensed beats should:

Contact the producer directly

Provide proof of purchase from BeatPillz

Request whitelisting or claim removal

Producers are expected to resolve such claims promptly and professionally.

9. BeatPillz Enforcement Rights

BeatPillz reserves the right to:

Request proof of Content ID ownership or registration

Remove beats involved in repeated false claims

Suspend or terminate producer accounts for abuse

Update this policy at any time
